Insomnia

once again it seems a sleepless night is ahead, so I'm glad of cheap internet connection...

Today I burst out laughing while reading a book about biological psychology ( a mate from work of mine lent it to me, I'm starting to wonder why) and there was the three basic types of insomnia: onset insomnia, maintenance insomnia and termination insomnia. And I've got them all! In various degrees but anyway, finally a category I fit! Weird things can get me laugh... I so rarely feel like I belong to anywhere so even finding a disorder I fit made me feel fine. And I don't want even to think how sick that is...

So, hi to everyone, just shortly joined tribe and this group. More of me later.

    welcome hale,

    i know you would find it odd but i sometimes i feel guilty coz of over sleeping,

    i also read somewhere that more and more people will need sleeping pills, as work is getting less physical,

    if are bodies are not put thru some kind of physical strain naturally it will be difficult for sleep to come,

    just observe workers, labourers they really sleep like kings, even if they don't have comfortable bedrooms"

    dunno but it made lot of sense to me.

      I know what you mean, at those times I really sleep for a long periods of time I get a guilty feeling for "wasting time". Then I don't remember all the things I get done while not being able to sleep...

      That I can easily believe that doing light works makes insomnia more probable to happen. Maybe I should start running again... Exhaust myself. If I just wouldn't be so damn tired all the time so I could actually get my ass of the couch!

        It's hard for me to sleep also... so much going on in my poor brain. My body would love to sleep but my mind has so much it loves to think about. I feel for the rest of you unable to sleep, I would say just find someone to cuddle with it helps you fall asleep faster.

            i just woke up -i had not slept for three days (i cleaned my room though!!!) and so last night i just crashed. i was in a deep sleep from 10pm wed to 3pm today....i do this alot. do any of you guys do this too?

              ha ha ha!
              i JUST did that last week, only it was tow days not three.
              and i didn't quite finish thers still a pile of junk inthe corner and i couldn't find any place to put my painting stuff or any of my paintings, or any of the rest of my art suplys.... o.k. thers still a lot of cluter in here.

              it's like i sleep like a crank head only without the crank .
