Do others here dislike (even hate) shopping? Especially at malls? Especially at Christmas time? *Shiver*

Re: Shopping
Fri, March 18, 2005 - 8:51 AMI hate it too. I'd rather shop online :) It very rare that I do go out and shop. I especially hate the perfume areas. Reminds me of an episode of Spongebob. (That was random lol)

Re: Shopping
Fri, March 18, 2005 - 10:03 AMBecause I am slightly agoraphobic, I hate hate hate shopping. I *never* set foot in a mall -- or even in a large supermarket if I can help it -- because I am prone to sensory overload and I am overwhelmed by too many choices. I do nearly ALL my shopping online. The additional cost of postage and handling is well worth my not having to go to the store. -

Re: Shopping
Fri, March 18, 2005 - 7:46 PMShopping is the worst and especially at malls. All the people, especially the rude ones and I think 90% of them are just plain rude to the bone. I don't know if rude has just become a way of life or what, but I'd just as soon stay home. Some people get "road rage", I get "shopping rage".
Christmas is the absolute worst. I don't do a lot of shopping at Christmas or on weekends or any other holiday. I don't go to the "big" sale days either, they don't make anything I want that bad. I feel blessed that I'm crafty enough and talented enough to make most of my gifts for Christmas. -

Re: Shopping
Sat, March 19, 2005 - 7:18 AMI do all christmas shopping online. Why wouldn't you though it's soooooooooooooooo much easier. Awesome Lisa for your craftyness. I think making something for someone is so much more personal. Just think if guys only knew how to be crafty they wouldn't have to spend all that money on flowers and candy and jewelry. If a guy would try to make me something It would melt my heart away. I'm not much for candy and jewelery anyway.(actually I love jewelery but it wouldn't win my heart) I like men who are creative. And when they are it shows they care more than just thinking of crap that you don't need. I do have to admit I love flowers though :)

Re: Shopping
Sun, March 20, 2005 - 5:13 AMMy husband is not much of a jewelry/flowers type of guy. He actually does make a lot of my gifts. He has gotten me jewelry and flowers, but it's the gifts he's made for me that I treasure the most. Those are the ones I know came straight from his heart. -
